About this piece

A yellow bee-themed rat cage set for hiding, climbing and foraging. Includes one hive hide, three honeycomb shelves and a hanging string of three bee cups. Made to order and ready to dispatch in 7 working days.

Give your rats a place to tuck away, climb between levels and search for dry treats. The matching hive, honeycomb and bee details bring the set together without getting in the way of what each piece does.

What you receive

  • 1 roof-mounted hive hide
  • 3 honeycomb shelves
  • 1 hanging string with 3 bee foraging cups
  • All mounting fittings, hanging chain and clips

Yellow only. This listing is for the complete set. The cage, rats, food, bedding and wooden platform shown in the photos are not included.

Size and material

Hive: approximately 24 cm high × 23.7 cm wide × 21.9 cm deep.
Each shelf: approximately 15 cm high × 17.3 cm wide × 10.9 cm deep.
Each cup bowl: approximately 6 cm outside diameter.

These are outer dimensions, rounded from the product design files—not entrance or usable interior measurements. The pieces are yellow polymer with metal mounting and hanging fittings.

Placement and care

The hive fixes beneath suitable cage-roof bars. The shelves mount to cage bars, and the cup string hangs from the supplied chain and clips. Check your available cage space and mounting arrangement before ordering; contact us if you need help checking fit.

We recommend wiping the pieces with a damp cloth and drying them before returning them to the cage. Check the pieces and fittings regularly, and remove any damaged item.
