What Photo Works Best for a Custom Pet Bust?

What photo works best for a custom pet bust?

The best photo is clear, close enough to show the face, and honest to how the pet looked. One strong front photo is usually the starting point, then extra photos help us check markings, ears, fur shape and expression.

Use natural light

Choose a photo where the face is bright enough to see. Window light is usually better than flash or a dark evening photo.

Show the face

A front view or slight side angle works best. Avoid photos where the face is hidden by blur, shadows, toys or heavy filters.

Add extra angles

If markings, ears, collar, fur shape or side profile matter, upload extra photos so the brief is not relying on one image.

Keep wording short

Names, dates and short phrases are easiest to check. Put the exact wording in the personalisation box when ordering.

Use the right email

If a proof is needed, use the email address you want us to contact before the order moves ahead.

Tell us the favourite photo

If you upload several pictures, say which one feels most like them. We can use the others for detail checks.

Quick photo checklist

Good

Clear eyes, visible ears, natural colour, face close enough to understand, no heavy crop through the head.

Less useful

Very dark photos, screenshots, strong filters, motion blur, tiny pet in the distance or the face turned fully away.

If unsure

Upload the best photo you have and add a note. If anything important is unclear, we can check before making.
