Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow the shelves to dry fully before returning them to the cage. Check all fittings and shelf edges during normal cage cleans; remove a shelf if it becomes damaged, rough or heavily chewed.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
