Each hide is finished in our small Lake District workshop. Slight finish differences are normal on handmade cage pieces.

Wipe clean only. Use small-pet-safe cleaners and avoid harsh chemicals, soaking, dishwashers or heat. Check the hide regularly as part of normal cage maintenance.
