This is a substantial adult-rat hide. Check the 25 x 23 x 18 cm dimensions, doorway, cage-bar spacing and intended mounting position before ordering.
Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully before returning it to the cage. Check the fittings and edges during normal cage cleans and remove the hide if it becomes damaged, rough or heavily chewed.

How it fixes: a headless bolt screws into a threaded metal insert in the piece, goes through the cage and is held on the outside with washers and a wing nut, so it tightens by hand. Fits cage bars up to about 2.5 cm (1 in).
