Plan the layout before ordering
Check the gallery views and attachment points against your cage bars. Leave sensible clearance between each shelf and other cage furniture so rats can move between the levels comfortably.
Care and safety
Wipe with a damp cloth and allow each shelf to dry fully before returning it to the cage. Check the fittings and edges during normal cage cleans and remove any shelf that becomes loose, damaged, rough or heavily chewed.
