Custom cat bust from photo: the short answer

The current custom pet bust is a small photo-led keepsake for cats, dogs and other pets where the photographs show enough detail. It is approximately 18 cm, for indoor display, with a choice of Warm Marble Grey or Pure White finish and free engraved wording on the base.

What makes a cat photo easy to read?

  • Show the face: choose a sharp image where the eyes, nose, muzzle and ear outline are visible.
  • Keep markings natural: use even light and avoid filters or coloured lighting that changes the coat pattern.
  • Add an angle when it helps: a front or three-quarter view is a good start; a side view can clarify ear shape, muzzle or markings.
  • Keep the original: avoid motion blur, deep shadow, screenshots and crops through the ears or face.
